Celebrating Shakespeare's 450th Birthday: The Sonnets

In celebration of the 450th anniversary of William Shakespeare's birth today we'll be taking a look back at some of David Tennant's finest Shakespeare-inspired moments.

In 2012, David contributed to a new iPad app by Touch Press which featured specially filmed readings of all 154 of Shakespeare's Sonnets by an all-star cast of actors, writers, academics and Shakespeare experts, including Sir Patrick Stewart, Fiona Shaw, Stephen Fry and Oliver Ford Davies. The app features readings with highlighted text, the Arden Shakepeare notes, a commentary by poet Don Paterson and the ability to share the performances via social media or email.
