Ricky Wilson On David Tennant & That 'Bring The Noise' Duet: "He Was Method Acting"

Ricky Wilson, host of the new Sky 1 entertainment series Bring The Noise appeared on The One Show on BBC One yesterday evening to talk about the new series.

During his interview, a clip was shown from the show featuring Ricky with episode 1 guest star David Tennant. The pair got into costume to recreate the 1976 classic Elton John and Kiki Dee duet with Ricky as Elton, and David, wearing a bobbed wig and pink dungarees, as Kiki.

Ricky said that David poured all of his thespian skills into getting the part just right.

"He was taking it so seriously," he said. "He was method acting. He was watching the original video over and over again. He got every single nuance of Kiki Dee...and he's playing her now in the West End," he joked.
