David Tennant's Richard II Included In The RSC Shakespeare On Screen Event



During the week of the 400th anniversary celebration of Shakespeare's death, the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Stratford-upon-Avon Picturehouse will present screenings of some of the Company's most admired productions adapted for TV and cinema.

David Tennant's portrayal of Richard II which was recorded at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre back in 2013 will be shown on Saturday 23rd April at 2.30pm.

As we previously reported David Tennant's Hamlet will also be shown as part of The Barbican's Shakespeare On Screen event on Sunday 31st January at 2pm.  That event is now sold out.
